Duncan Booth has a strong background in geospatial intelligence and analysis. Duncan started their career in 2009 as a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst in the British Army, where they worked on high-end geospatial analytics and developed a thorough understanding of other intelligence disciplines. Duncan then became a Geospatial Intelligence Consultant, responsible for conducting advanced geospatial analysis and automating methodologies using python scripting. In 2012, they joined the UK Ministry of Defence as a Geospatial Intelligence Senior Consultant, managing a specialized consultancy team and conducting analysis within a strict legal framework. Duncan later transitioned to a role as a Geospatial Intelligence Task Manager and Military Team Leader, overseeing a team of analysts and managing customer requirements. In 2016, they joined the UK Ministry of Defence as a Capability Development Manager, where they created a Capability Development team to enhance analytical output and improve workflows. Since 2017, they have been working at Esri UK, initially as a GIS Consultant, then as a Project Manager, and currently as the Head of Health and Social Care.

Duncan Booth attended the Joseph Whitaker School from 1999 to 2004, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
