Jonathan Swaddle has extensive work experience in various roles related to business development, customer success, and GIS management. Jonathan started their career at the Environment Agency in 1999 as a GIS Project Officer. Afterward, they worked at the Government Office North East as an Information Systems Coordinator for Euro Programs from 2000 to 2002. Following that, they joined Harrogate Borough Council as the GIS/LLPG Manager. In 2008, they joined Esri UK, where they held multiple positions, including Customer Care Consultant, Customer Care Manager, and Customer Success Manager. Currently, they serve as the Head of Business Development - Critical National Infrastructure at Esri UK.

Jonathan Swaddle completed their education at various institutions. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Northumbria University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management. Prior to that, they studied at Haydon Bridge High School from 1990 to 1995, completing their GCSEs, A-Levels, and City & Guilds qualifications.
