Carlos Cardona

Carlos Cardona has over two decades of experience in the geospatial technology sector, currently serving as General Manager - Americas at Esri since July 2012. In this role, Carlos has been instrumental in driving business growth across the Americas, engaging with enterprise customers to define their business and technology needs. Previous roles at Esri include Business Development Manager and Solutions Architect for Latin America, where Carlos supported distributors and the business development team in showcasing the value of GIS technology. Prior to Esri, Carlos worked at Procalculo Prosis S.A. in various positions, including Marketing Manager and Utilities Industry Manager, where strategic business and marketing plans were developed for a range of GIS products. Carlos began the career in GIS software development as an Analyst and Developer Engineer at Datum Ltda and Sigtech Ltda, after earning a degree in Computer Science Engineering with a focus on GIS from Universidad de Los Andes.
