Chris McGuire is a Technical Manager at Esri with over 35 years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS). Having served in the US Marine Corps Reserves as a Sergeant from 1983 to 1989, Chris has since held various roles at Esri, including team lead for Defense Services and senior system architect. Since 2009, Chris has managed numerous projects to implement GIS solutions for the Department of Defense, successfully overseeing the delivery of 232 service projects. Chris earned a BS in Geography with a concentration in GIS and Imagery Analysis from Appalachian State University from 1983 to 1988.
