Emily Knish-Anderson

Emily Knish-Anderson is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Esri, where since January 2017, the focus has been on assisting retailers in leveraging geographic insights to address business challenges and enhance success. Prior experience includes roles as a GIS Specialist II at Technical Design Services, contributing to infrastructure design, and various positions in the beauty industry, such as Counter Manager at Estée Lauder and Clinique Consultant at Macy's. Emily began a career in academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Dakota, where responsibilities included conducting lab sections and leading meetings, as well as serving as a Graduate Research Assistant on a National Science Foundation grant proposal. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Geography from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Minnesota State University, Mankato, complemented by a GIS Certificate and Studio Arts.
