Jennifer Lana

Jennifer Lana, GISP, serves as a Senior Consultant in Professional Services at Esri since October 2024, where expertise in geospatial data and GIS/mapping software facilitates support for essential workflows. Prior experience includes serving as GIS Manager for Cobb County Government from December 2011 to October 2024, managing the enterprise GIS mapping program that supports extensive employee and citizen usage. Additional roles include a Board Member for the Georgia Geospatial Association from January 2017 to December 2022, Senior Scientist/GIS Manager at HSW Engineering, Inc. focusing on GIS software training and environmental project management, and GIS Manager for the Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission where an enterprise GIS system was developed. Earlier, Jennifer worked as GIS Supervisor at Washington Closure Hanford, LLC, initiating GIS systems for the US Department of Energy Hanford Site. Jennifer holds a Master's degree from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor's degree from Salisbury University.
