Vijai Kumar S.

Vijai Kumar S. has been working in the software development field since 2016. In 2016, they began working as a Junior Software Developer at a Program Development Company, where they were involved in the development of the front end for their grid generation software. Vijai Kumar used the Qt framework for developing the GUI and worked on Windows 10, Linux, and OSX platforms concurrently. Vijai Kumar also worked as a Developer Intern at the same company, where they were responsible for automation of package building, writing patches for OS and system specific issues, fixing small bugs in the software, and integrating some command line tools to the GUI. Additionally, they worked on improving the company's website and social media presence.

In 2018, Vijai Kumar S. began working at ESS - Engineering Software Steyr as a Development Lead (Geometry Processing) and Software Developer. As a Software Developer, they focused on innovative ways to decompose geometries using non traditional methods and higher-order mesh generation algorithms.

Vijai Kumar S. has a long and diverse educational background. Vijai Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education in 2013. Vijai Kumar then went on to receive a Master of Science by Research in Aerospace Engineering from Anna University in 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Vijai Kumar S. has obtained numerous certifications from institutions such as Coursera, Google, edX, Duolingo, and Atlassian.
