Rohit Saboo

Rohit Saboo has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Rohit began their career as a Chartered Accountant at Sanghai & Co. in 2007. Rohit then worked as a Research Analyst at Amba Research (Moody's Research Wing) from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for tracking companies, conducting research, and writing reports. Rohit then joined Copal Amba (a Moody's subsidiary) as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) from 2015 to 2017, where they performed sell-side fundamental equity research analysis and covered ASEAN transportation. After that, they worked at CRISIL Global Research & Analytics as a Lead Analyst from 2017 to 2018, tracking the European Utility and Russian O&G sectors. In 2019, they joined Essar Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Ltd as a Manager until 2020. Rohit then moved on to Essar Capital Limited as an Assistant Vice President in 2020, working in corporate strategy, valuations, investor management, and business development of energy vertical. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Head of Strategy, New Businesses at Essar Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Ltd.

Rohit Saboo has a CA (Chartered Accountant) degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Rohit also has a CFA Level I certification from the CFA Institute USA, which they obtained in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they completed their +2 education from West Point, and they have a Chartered Accountant degree from ANMS, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004.
