Andrés Lagache

Andrés Lagache has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy industry. Andrés started their career at YPF S.A. in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they worked as an LPG Trader and later as a Crude Oil Trader for Latin American markets. Andrés then joined Repsol YPF in Madrid, Spain, where they worked as a Senior Crude Oil Trader.

Later, Lagache joined Essar Oil Limited UK as the General Manager of Crude oil trading, where they were responsible for coordinating the crude supply of the Stanlow refinery in the UK and the supply of the Vadinar refinery in India. Andrés also had a role at Pacific Marketing International in Panama as the International Crude Oil Sales Manager, where they oversaw the sale of crude oil in international markets.

In 2017, Lagache became the Head of Trading Desk at Philia S.A., a growing independent energy business, where they led a team of traders and operators in Geneva and Singapore. Most recently, they joined Essar Oil (UK) Limited as the Head of Crude Trading, responsible for coordinating the crude oil supply to the Stanlow refinery.

Throughout their career, Lagache has developed expertise in trading and managing crude oil operations both domestically and internationally.

Andrés Lagache earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' between 1986 and 1990. Andrés later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration at the University of New Orleans from 1991 to 1992.
