Abbie Asunmaa

Abbie Asunmaa is an experienced business analyst and maintenance system specialist, currently employed at Algoma Steel Inc. since February 2022. Prior roles include engineering technologist at the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry, and a maintenance system specialist at Algoma Steel. With a background in mechanical engineering, Abbie has demonstrated expertise in assessing and developing business processes, troubleshooting SAP PM and MM systems, auditing maintenance KPIs, and leading reliability maintenance projects. Abbie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Lakehead University. Additionally, Abbie's professional development includes participation in management and leadership programs and membership in the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.
