Gabriel Elmahriki

Gabriel Elmahriki, P.Eng, has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, primarily at Algoma Steel Inc. since May 2015, where roles include Mechanical Technical Specialist and Senior Planner - Mechanical, focusing on specialized engineering support, maintenance planning, and project management at the Direct Strip Production Complex. Gabriel has also supervised maintenance activities for Algoma Steel's mobile fleet and has led significant projects to enhance equipment reliability. In addition to industry experience, Gabriel serves as an instructor at Sault College, teaching courses in Hydraulic Systems and Machine Design. Previous roles include Mechanical Engineer in Training at DAVWIRE and seasonal work with the Canadian Coast Guard. Gabriel holds both a Bachelor's Degree and a Technologist Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University.
