Raili Kary

Raili Kary is currently serving as an Environmental Engineering Intern in the Environmental Control department at Algoma Steel Inc. since May 2023, focusing on monitoring and assisting with the Legacy Environmental Action Plan to manage contamination from the steel mill and associated properties. From October 2021 to June 2023, Raili fulfilled the role of Senior First Year Engineering Curriculum Analyst at the University of Toronto, collaborating with the Director of First Year Engineering Education to identify and resolve educational barriers using data-driven analysis. Previous experience includes working as a Camp Counselor in June 2021 and as a Lifeguard at the John Rhodes Community Centre from 2016 to 2021. Raili is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in 2024, and holds a High School Diploma from St. Marys College, obtained in 2020.
