Nir Aharoni

Nir Aharoni is a financial professional with extensive experience in financial control and assurance. Currently serving as Financial Controller and previously as Assistant Controller at Essence Group since June 2021, Nir has developed a strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) and Israeli GAAP. Prior to this, Nir worked at EY as an Assurance Associate from August 2018 to June 2021, conducting audits and reviews for diverse sectors, including real estate and hi-tech. Notable past roles include Cisco Engineer from August 2014 to August 2018 and Captain in the Israel Defense Forces, where Nir led a Search & Rescue company from August 2007 to August 2014. Academically, Nir holds an MBA in Finance from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Communication, and Journalism from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
