Felix Cheung

Felix Cheung is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in product management and open-source contributions. Currently serving in a product role at NVIDIA since January 2024, Cheung has been an active member of The Apache Software Foundation since 2015, holding various positions including PMC member and Committer for multiple projects such as Apache Zeppelin, Apache Spark, and Apache Sedona. Cheung has also been involved in mentoring and facilitating incubating projects. Additional roles include co-organizer of the Seattle Spark Meetup, angel investor for various startups, LP at Essence Venture Capital, and a series of leadership positions at SafeGraph and Uber, where expertise in data engineering and cloud platforms was demonstrated. Cheung’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
