Gary Overliese

Gary Overliese serves as the Head Coach for the Essendon Community VWFL Team, leading coaching efforts for the 2025 season. With a background in digital strategy as a Senior Digital Business Partner at Deakin University, Gary has developed effective digital strategies and strengthened stakeholder relationships. Previous roles include Manager of Learning Environments at Deakin University, focusing on cloud learning platforms, and serving as Vice-Captain and Starting Defender for the Richmond Football Club in the Community Wheelchair League. Gary also holds experience as a Lead eLearning Developer at Systematiq, managing eLearning projects, and has worked as a Learning Technologies Specialist at TAFE NSW, enhancing learner experiences through technology integration. Gary holds a Bachelor of Multimedia, Production from Bond University.
