Nick Ryan

Nick Ryan is an experienced executive with extensive leadership roles in the sports and entertainment industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer at Essendon Football Club since February 2020, Nick held the position of Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager - Commercial. Prior to this, Nick was with Kelly Racing V8 Supercar Team from September 2008 to February 2020, where various titles included General Manager and General Manager - Marketing and Sponsorship. Additional experience includes serving as Director at The Captain Collective, and managing sales and sponsorship at DSEG and MBS Australia. Currently pursuing an Executive MBA at RMIT University, Nick's background encompasses commercial strategy, marketing, and partnership management across prominent Australian sports.
