AI/ML software engineer at Essenlix

Alex Qi has worked in various roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Rochester. In 2018, they became a Software Developer at the University of Rochester Medical Center. In 2020, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where they worked on algorithm development for model-free Feedforward Neural Network on the localization problems of ocean wave direction of arrival problems. In 2021, they became an AI/ML Software Engineer at Essenlix Corporation, where they were involved in partnering up with Diffia at Norway to develop relay blood test queries in server-to-server communication using Celery and Django REST framework.

Alex Qi holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering, obtained in 2021. Alex also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester, obtained in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications: a Sensor Fusion Nanodegree from Udacity, obtained in April 2021; a Full-Stack Development certification from LaiOffer, obtained in March 2021; and a Visual Perception and the Brain certification from Coursera, obtained in April 2015.
