Bart van de Garde

Bart van de Garde is an experienced software engineering manager with a robust background in technical leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager (a.i.) at Essent since October 2024, Bart previously held the position of Engineering Manager (a.i.) at bol.com and managed software development at Rainforest Alliance. Bart's experience also includes roles as Chief Technology Officer at VONQ and Jitscale, where Bart drove innovation and technical strategy, as well as extensive project management responsibilities. Bart holds a Certified Data Scientist degree from Jheronimus Academy of Data Science and an Executive MBA from TIAS School for Business and Society, complemented by a BSc in Computer Science from Utrecht University.
