Marlouk Basten

Marlouk Basten is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in retention marketing, loyalty programs, and energy solutions at Essent since August 2013, where roles have included Senior Marketeer Retentie and board member of Jong Essent. In addition to work at Essent, Marlouk Basten teaches private Spanish lessons in Eindhoven and previously owned the creative venture Versjes van Mar, which achieved significant social media following and a product line. Earlier professional experience includes roles as a communication advisor at the Kamer van Koophandel in Argentina and involvement in marketing and communication at various organizations. Marlouk Basten holds multiple degrees from Radboud University, including a Master of Arts in Spanish Language and Culture and Bachelor of Arts in Information and Communication Sciences, as well as certifications from NIMA in marketing.
