Noud Bouwens

Noud Bouwens is an accomplished energy trader currently working at Essent since November 2022, specializing in intraday, day-ahead, and intramonth power and gas markets, along with flexibility optimization. Prior experience includes serving as a proprietary equity trader at Accent Circonflexe Groupe BV from March 2021 to November 2022, and an internship as a junior private equity analyst at Anthos Fund & Asset Management in 2019. Additionally, Noud has contributed to algorithmic trading strategy development as a researcher in the Quantitative Investment Group at Asset | Econometrics from July 2017 to September 2019 and was actively involved in the Tilburg Trading Club as an analyst and board member from September 2016 to September 2019. Educational achievements include a cum laude Master of Science in Financial Econometrics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics & Operations Research from Tilburg University.
