Chris Byrne

Chris Byrne has over 25 years of experience in the financial and technology sectors. Chris is currently the Managing Director at Essentia Advisory Partners, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Chris worked at Macquarie Group as a Program Manager and later as a Delivery Manager, overseeing global delivery and software support for trade capture technology. Before Macquarie, they served as the S3 Project Lead for Credit Risk at BP. Chris also held various roles at Deutsche Bank, including Head of North American Gas & Power Technology/Program Manager and Head of European Commodities Technology. Chris worked as a Program Manager at Barclays Investment Bank in the Commodities Exotics & Risk Technology department. At Royal Bank of Scotland Business, Chris was the Senior Manager - Functional Manager for Equity Derivatives Technology. Chris started their career at JPMorgan as a Vice President, responsible for system architecture and risk management. Prior to that, Chris was an Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse in the Equities Technology division.
