Leonardo Serpa is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and energy solutions. As the General Manager for EMEA at Array Technologies since October 2024, Leonardo drives strategic initiatives in the solar energy landscape. Previously, as CEO of Essentia Energia from August 2021 to August 2024, Leonardo led a renewable power generation entity achieving substantial revenues and EBITDA, while overseeing a diverse portfolio of wind, solar, and hydro projects. Prior roles include CEO of ENGIE Solutions, where Leonardo established a successful Energy-as-a-Service business and expanded the company's footprint in Brazil through strategic acquisitions. Earlier career milestones at ABB Switzerland involved leadership positions focusing on power control services and renewable technologies, with notable contributions to corporate strategy and market analysis. Leonardo holds advanced degrees including a PhD in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich and an MBA from Cass Business School, complemented by executive training at Harvard Business School.
