Laura Strausberg

Laura Strausberg, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations. Laura currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Essential Anesthesia Management, a leading provider of anesthesia services. In this role, Laura is responsible for managing over 1100 clinicians in 120 facilities across six states.

Prior to their current position, Laura worked as a Talent Management Leader at Organizational Development Solutions, Inc., where they partnered with organizations of all sizes to drive high performance through talent development and management strategies. Laura also has experience as the Vice President of People Management at XSOLIS, where they developed and executed the people-capital strategy during a period of hypergrowth.

Additionally, Laura has held roles such as LinkedIn Local Nashville Host at LinkedinLocalNashville, Director of Learning & Development/Organizational Effectiveness at Asurion, and Talent Management Leader at CHC Helicopter. Laura also has a background in organizational change management and consulting, having served as a Director at Dell and as an Organizational Development/HR Consultant at EDGAR Online, Inc.

Laura Strausberg, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, which they earned from 1986 to 1990. Laura also has a Master of Education degree in Health and Human Development from the same university, obtained from 1991 to 1993. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Laura attended Stuyvesant HS from 1984 to 1986. Laura completed their high school education at Spence School from 1972 to 1983. In addition to their academic qualifications, Laura has obtained professional certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in January 2021, and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in January 2015.
