Ron Zori

Ron Zori is a seasoned venture investor currently serving as General Partner at Essential Capital, where the firm has invested nearly $500 million in transformative businesses since December 2022. Previously, Ron held the role of VP of Business & Corporate Development at Public.com, leading initiatives in a social investing platform. As a Scout for Andreessen Horowitz, Ron contributed to identifying promising startups between December 2021 and November 2023. Earlier in their career, Ron was Head of Revenue at Knotel, playing a pivotal role in the company's growth to $350 million ARR before its acquisition by Newmark. Additional experience includes positions at Kite Ventures and a background as an Operations Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, along with noteworthy achievements as a forward for Maccabi Netanya in the Israeli Premier League and a Division I varsity soccer player at Columbia University, where Ron earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
