Jesse Goerz, P.E.

Jesse Goerz, P.E. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent positions include working as a Sr. Software Developer at eHub and as a General Manager at Emerald Mountain Media, both starting in 2023. Jesse also co-founded Blue Treetop Investments in 2017.

In terms of their software development expertise, Jesse worked as a Software Architect at ClientSuccess from May 2022 to March 2023. Prior to that, they held roles at PlanSource, starting as a Senior Developer/Architect in March 2014 and progressing to become the Director of Software Engineering in June 2015. In their role as Director of Software Engineering, Jesse had ten direct reports and was responsible for SaaS software design and maintenance. Additionally, they served as a System Architect from July 2020 to February 2021, where they contributed to monolith decomposition and a cloud migration strategy, and later as a Senior System Architect from February 2021 to May 2022, where they supported SaaS architecture and led DevOps activities.

Before working at PlanSource, Jesse was a Software Engineer at RightScale from April 2012 to March 2014. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Hardware Test Engineer at Tech Source from September 2011 to April 2012. Jesse began their engineering career at Nelson Engineering Co. in March 2011, where they performed hardware/software design supporting Kennedy Space Center Engineering Support Contract (ESC). Jesse then transitioned to ASRC Aerospace in May 2007, where they served as an Electrical Engineer until March 2011. Jesse's early experience includes working as a Computer Science Staff member at United Space Alliance from April 2005 to May 2007.

Jesse Goerz, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida from 2002 to 2004. Jesse then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Digital Systems at the same university.

Additionally, Jesse Goerz, P.E. holds various certifications to further enhance their knowledge and expertise. Jesse obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in June 2011. In October 2020, they also received the Certified Enterprise Architect Associate certification from Zachman International. Most recently, in June 2021, Jesse Goerz, P.E. completed the course "Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems" offered by MIT xPRO.
