Rod West

Rod West is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the utility sector, currently serving as a Board Director at Essential Utilities, Inc. and as Group President of Utility Operations at Entergy since April 1999. West has a proven track record in overseeing financial and operational performance across multiple state utility operations, leading initiatives in corporate strategy, regulatory affairs, and customer experience. Prior roles include Executive Vice President for Shared Corporate Services and Chief Administrative Officer, where West developed and implemented strategic processes across the organization. Before Entergy, West practiced law focusing on labor, employment, and commercial litigation. Academically, West holds a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, an MBA from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, and has completed a Reactor Technology Course for Utility Executives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
