Sonia Granda Rosenthal has a diverse work experience in the travel industry. Sonia started their career as a Tourist Guide at the Museo de la Inquisición y del Congreso in 2006. Sonia then worked as an Executive Assistant to the Sales Tourism Department at Transporte Organización y Promoción Turística in 2012. Following that, they joined Quimbaya Latin America in 2013 as an Account Executive, where they designed travel itineraries and made reservations for FITS and groups. In 2016, they became an Account Executive at Setours Handcrafted Journeys, where they analyzed client requests and designed travel itineraries for multiple countries. Sonia then returned to Quimbaya Latin America in 2017, first as a Sales Coordinator for Multi Destinations and later as a Sales Manager, where they focused on sales growth and customer loyalty. Most recently, they worked as a Customer Service Executive at Essentialist.com, where they provided assistance to clients with travel planning, made bookings, processed payments, and resolved issues.

Sonia Granda Rosenthal has a diverse educational background. In 2007, they attended MacEwan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Arts. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2012, they enrolled at Universidad de San Martín de Porres, obtaining a Licenciatura degree in Turismo y Hoteleria (Tourism and Hospitality).

To further enhance their skills and knowledge, Sonia attended ISIL Aprende Haciendo in 2015, where they completed a diploma in Marketing. Later, in 2021, they enrolled at Coderhouse and completed a Community Manager & Publicidad program, specializing in Marketing.

Currently, Sonia is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, a program that they started in 2019 and expects to complete in 2022.
