Tyler Anderson began their professional career as an Engineering Intern at Boeing in 2008. Tyler worked on systems engineering projects and gained experience in software development. In 2010, Tyler took on the role of a Filing Clerk at Pacific Crane Maintenance Company, LP, where they handled file management and payroll auditing. Tyler then worked as a Sailing Instructor at Long Beach Area Council, teaching sailing to students and overseeing boat maintenance. In 2014, Tyler joined MatterHackers, Inc. as a 3D Printing Technician, conducting design work, prototyping, and technical support. Tyler was promoted to Product Engineer, responsible for testing and training new employees. Eventually, Tyler became the Product Engineering Manager, leading a team through supply chain disruptions and launching a new product line. Currently, Tyler is employed as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Essentium, Inc. Their role involves designing the next generation 3D printer with a focus on filament storage and humidity control systems, as well as coordinating with manufacturers and overseeing the New Product Introduction process.

Tyler Anderson received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach in 2013. Prior to that, they attended California Academy of Math and Science from 2005 to 2009 for their high school education.
