Holger A. Koch

Holger A. Koch has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Holger A. started their career at Reemtsma, where they held various roles including Manager of International Controlling and Business Development Manager for Eastern Europe. Holger A. then served as the Finance Director for Ukraine at Reemtsma, where they successfully managed the consolidation of three legal entities into one functional unit and navigated through challenging economic crises.

Koch later joined Imperial Tobacco as the Commercial Director for Australasia, where they played a key role in implementing a long-term corporate strategy and overseeing the development and implementation of various IT initiatives. Holger A. also served as the Commercial Director for Asia-Pacific, responsible for finance, IT, compliance, business development, and legal affairs.

In 2015, Koch transitioned to management consulting, serving as a Strategic Advisor and Business Consultant. During this time, they provided strategic guidance to various organizations.

Most recently, Koch served as the Global Commercial Director for the Filters Division of Essentra, a leading global supplier of plastics, fiber, foam, and packaging products. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing commercial operations for the division.

Holger A. Koch completed the General Management Programme at IMD in 2002. In the same year, they also completed the Executive Development Programme at SGBS Business School St. Gallen. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from Technische Universität Darmstadt, graduating in 1992.
