Mark Woodger

Mark Woodger is an experienced planning professional with a strong background in managing planning teams and projects across various local government and consulting roles. Currently serving as Principal Planner for Garden Communities at Essex County Council since January 2019, Mark previously held the position of Principal Planner for Strategic Sites at Maldon District Council from October 2016 to January 2019. With experience dating back to 1989, Mark has developed expertise in development control, strategic planning, and team leadership. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Management Studies from the University of Greenwich and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Planning Studies from Anglia Ruskin University.
