Simon Griffiths

Simon Griffiths is an experienced leader in the field of adult social care with a strong background in operational management and strategy development. Currently serving as the Director of Adult Social Care for South Essex at Essex County Council since July 2018, Simon has previously held significant roles such as Director of Operations and Head of Service. At Precious Homes from May 2014 to July 2018, Simon was responsible for multiple residential and supported living homes, where strategic frameworks and quality assurance processes were successfully implemented. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Mid Essex CCG, overseeing budget, quality, and performance, and as Commissioning & Delivery Director at Essex County Council, where Simon managed social work teams focused on safeguarding vulnerable adults.
