Brendan Walshe

Brendan Walshe is the Chief Executive Officer of Essex County Football Association Limited, a position held since 2008, where strategic development of football within Essex is managed along with the delivery of the FA National Game Strategy for grassroots football. Brendan's previous roles at Essex County Football Association include County Development Manager and Senior Football Development Officer, focusing on increasing participation and supporting the volunteer workforce. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager for the Braintree Community Sports Project at Nacro, where social inclusion projects aimed to engage hard-to-reach young people through sport. Brendan started as a Fitness Coach at Esporta, delivering personalized health and fitness training programs. Brendan holds a degree in The Science and Social Science of Sport from the University of Roehampton.
