Mike Hammer

Mike Hammer has over 20 years of work experience, starting from their role as a Software Architect at CyberSensor.com in 2000. Mike then worked as a Member Technical Staff at Mahi Networks in 2001 and as a Software Engineer at Westwave Communications and Cingular Wireless in 2002. From 2004 to 2009, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, where they configured NGN Wireless Call Servers and wrote tools for staging, configuration, and analysis. In 2010, they joined Alcatel-Lucent Ventures, Bell Labs Innovations as a Support Engineer, providing Tier II/III escalation support for a new product. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tango Networks. Mike then worked at Cray Inc. from 2014 to 2017 as a System Engineer, providing support for Cray Super Computers, Clusters, and Storage Devices for the Army Core of Engineers. Starting in 2017, they joined Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc., first as a Software Engineer and then as a Software Engineering Manager until 2020. Currently, they are working at Essex, an Emmes Company, as a Software Engineering Manager, holding this role since 2020.

Mike Hammer has a strong education background in engineering and computer systems. Mike obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Northeastern University, which they pursued from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Apart from higher education, Mike attended Corinth Elementary, although specific dates or degrees earned are not provided. In terms of additional certifications, Mike obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in July 2021.
