Soroush Javidi

Soroush Javidi, PhD, currently serves as Vice President of the Data Platform at Essex Property Trust since May 2023, having previously held the title of Senior Director in the same department. Prior to this, Soroush worked at BNP Paribas from September 2010 to May 2023, where roles included MBS Risk and P&L IT Development Manager/Product Manager, focusing on mortgage-backed security risk and trading platform development, and Head of Interest Rates Risk and P&L Development, managing high-impact risk and P&L tools for trading desks in New York and LATAM. Soroush also led Front Office Quantitative Development, delivering risk management solutions, and worked as a Front Office Quantitative Developer, developing risk management tools for FX trading desks. Soroush holds a PhD in Digital Signal Processing and a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Imperial College London.
