Emad Flear Aziz is a highly experienced professional in the fields of lens innovation, production, and technology development, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Group Lens Innovation & Deployment at EssilorLuxottica since June 2024. Prior to this role, Emad held key positions at ZEISS Group from March 2018 to June 2024, including Head of Global Production/Operation and Head of Technology & Innovation, overseeing extensive global operations in prescription lens manufacturing. Emad's academic contributions as a Professor and Institute Director at Freie Universität Berlin between March 2015 and March 2018 focused on sustainable energy technologies and materials development, complemented by leadership roles at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin and EPFL.
