Katarina Stensson

Katarina Stensson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, technology, and product management. As a Product & Strategy Consultant at ESSIQ AB since December 2022, Katarina serves as Agile Product Owner for Scania's product lifecycle management software, supporting over 20,000 users. Katarina has been the President of Piratpartiet since January 2020 and taught Science, Technology, and Mathematics at Åsö grundskola until December 2022. Prior entrepreneurial leadership as CEO and Co-founder of Checheza AB focused on educational technology and ensuring children's right to education. Academic accomplishments include a PhD candidacy at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in quantum optics and a Licentiate degree in Physics. Additional expertise includes project management in non-profit sectors and research internships, highlighting a strong commitment to merging technology with education.
