Gerard Guinane

Gerard Guinane has extensive experience in IT strategy and business technology, currently serving as VP IT Strategy and Business Technology at Essity since June 2017, following a tenure as VP IT Strategy Development at SCA HYGIENE PRODUCTS GmbH from September 2012 to June 2017. Prior roles include Global Enterprise Architect and Application Strategy and Projects Manager at SCA Hygiene Products (2008-2012), and IT Director at SCA (2005-2007). Earlier in his career, Gerard held IT Manager positions at Carter Holt Harvey (1998-2004) and Masterfoods (1990-1998). Gerard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Melbourne, earned between 1980 and 1982, and completed secondary education at St Patrick's College, Ballarat from 1974 to 1979.
