Giovanni Gangemi

Giovanni Gangemi is an accomplished professional in the manufacturing sector with extensive experience in the hygiene and baby care industries. Currently serving as the Engineering Category Director for Global Manufacturing at Essity since November 2017, Giovanni has also held various leadership roles including Technology Director and Program Director. Prior experience includes positions at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company, where Giovanni was the Open Diapers Platform Improvement Director and the Plant Manager for a prominent Hygiene Product factory in Poland. Additionally, Giovanni has a significant tenure at Procter & Gamble, where responsibilities included Regional Lean/TPM Manager for the Middle East and Africa and various operational management roles in multiple locations. Giovanni holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Diploma di maturità Classica from Augusto Roma.
