Henrik Ekman

Henrik Ekman currently serves as the Global Energy Portfolio Manager at Essity, overseeing the hedging of the group's annual energy consumption of 11 TWh, primarily focused on natural gas and electricity in European and American markets, with additional focus on LATAM. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Preem AB, where Henrik held roles as Senior Derivatives Trader, Treasury Analyst - Crude and Liquidity, Product Planner, Treasury - FX Trader, and Senior Trading Operator, managing market risks for various commodities, forecasting liquidity, coordinating refinery operations, and executing foreign exchange trading. Henrik Ekman holds a Master’s degree in Business Finance from Stockholm University.
