Jose Guirao

Jose Guirao has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Junior Talent at Hilasal Mexicana SA de CV from 1998 to 2000. Jose then served as Cash Management Responsible at the same company before becoming the Corporate Treasurer from 2002 to 2004. Jose then worked as Commercial Finance Manager at Danone de Mexico from 2004 to 2006, and later as Supply Chain Finance Manager Director from 2006 to 2007. Jose then joined SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company, where they held various positions including Product Supply Finance Manager Director, Financial Planning & Strategic Director, Director Financial Planning and Analysis, and Product Supply Controlling Director. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as Finance Director at Essity for Hygiene and Medical Solutions in North America, and from 2017 to 2018, they were the Business Controlling Director for Professional Hygiene in North America. Jose also served as Vice President of Finance, LATAM at Essity from 2018 to 2020 before moving on to become the Vice President of Finance Professional Hygiene. Currently, they hold the position of VP Pricing and Commercial Excellence at Essity. In addition to their roles at Essity, Jose also served as a Board Member at Grupo Familia from 2018 to 2020.

Jose Guirao's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Administration from Universidad Panamericana, which they earned from 1995 to 1999. Jose later pursued a Master's degree in Finance at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2002 to 2004. In terms of executive education, they completed programs at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education including "Creating value through financial insight" in 2011, "Performing for customers and consumers value" in 2012, and "Driving Business Performance" in 2013. Jose also obtained a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business in 2017.
