Edson Tadeu M. Manoel

Edson Tadeu M. Manoel is an experienced professional in software development and scientific coordination, currently serving as the Scientific Coordinator at ESSS since August 2005. Edson specializes in high-quality engineering and scientific software, focusing on mathematics, simulation, visualization, and programming practices. Prior experience includes roles as a Scientific Developer at ESSS, where Edson worked on numerical kernel development and visualization algorithms using C++ and Python, and as a Software Developer at Pixeon Comércio e Desenvolvimento LTDA, contributing to health informatics and image analysis products. Edson's early research work at the Cybernetic Vision Research Group at IFSC - USP involved algorithms for computer vision and image analysis, complemented by hardware and software development for quality control applications. Edson holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
