Leonardo Mendes Júnior has extensive work experience in various roles within the media industry. Leonardo started their career in 2005 as an Editor of Sports at Gazeta do Povo and later became an Editor-in-Chief at Revista ESPN. Leonardo also worked as a Commentator of Football at 98 FM and held multiple positions at Gazeta do Povo, including Special Reporter and Director of Editorial. Additionally, they served as a Product Director at Vortex Media and held roles at O Antagonista and ESTADÃO, where they worked as a Director of Technology and Partnerships, and as a Product Owner and later as Chief Transformation Officer/Audience Director, respectively. Currently, they are working as the Editorial Director at ESTADÃO.

Leonardo Mendes Júnior received a Bachelor's degree in Communication Social - Journalism from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná in the years 1997 to 2000. Leonardo also obtained a Master's degree in Communication Management from ISE Business School in 2016. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, they pursued an MBA in Exponential Business Management from Ibmec.
