Kertu Saks

Kertu Saks is a seasoned professional in the cultural and educational sectors, currently serving as the Director of the Estonian National Museum since December 2021. In addition, Kertu has held the position of Member of the Supervisory Board at the Tallinn TV-Tower Foundation since December 2016. Previous roles include Director at the Cultural Endowment of Estonia from November 2016 to December 2021, where the focus was on supporting arts and culture, and Director at the Energy Discovery Centre from December 1997 to November 2016, overseeing renovations and operations. Kertu has extensive experience in various advisory and leadership capacities, including Chief Specialist of the European Social Fund and participation in the Estonian Press Council. Kertu holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Tartu Ülikool, obtained between 1990 and 2011.
