Vadim Ivanov is the Head of the Crisis Management Department at the Estonian Social Insurance Board since August 2022, having previously held roles such as Project Manager and Deputy Director of Rescue College at the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. With experience as an Executive Fire Officer at the Estonian Rescue Board and the West Estonian Rescue Centre, Vadim has expertise in on-site command and crisis management. Participation as an expert for the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid & Civil Protection and contributions to the International Center for Emergency Techniques highlight a strong background in emergency planning. Vadim holds a Master’s Degree in Internal Security from the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and a Rescuer qualification from Väike-Maarja Rescue School, acquired through a progressive educational path in security and rescue studies.
