Carlos Buentello

Mr. Buentello rejoined the firm in July 2015 and serves in the Sales and Underwriting Department of Estrada Hinojosa. Previously, Mr. Buentello worked at Invesco, a mutual fund company in Houston, TX for over two years, worked in Estrada Hinojosa’s Compliance Department for over three years, and prior to that worked as a FINRA Examiner for over five years. As an Examiner, Mr. Buentello conducted regulatory examinations of registered firms helping to ensure compliance with regulatory rules and requirements involving a broad range of issues relating to equity and fixed income products. Prior to his regulatory experience, Mr. Buentello was employed as an accountant at a local bank in South Texas and interned at Merrill Lynch while at The University of Texas at Austin.
