Ryan Lane Aca

Ryan Lane ACA has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Ryan started their career at Goldwyns Limited in 2010, where they progressed from an Accounts Junior to an Accounts and Audit Senior, obtaining their AAT and ACA qualifications. During their time at Goldwyns Limited, they delivered audit reports and financial statements for clients with turnovers of up to £81 million.

In 2017, Ryan joined Estuary Housing Association as a Financial Accountant, where they played a crucial role in preparing group financial statements, monthly management accounts, and on-site audits. Ryan also assisted with the completion of the group's financial statements and built a strong relationship with external auditors. Ryan's attention to detail and understanding of accounting standards, such as FRS102 and SORP, were vital in their role at the association.

Ryan quickly progressed within Estuary Housing Association, becoming the Financial Reporting Manager. In this position, they assisted with the successful completion and delivery of the group's statutory accounts. Ryan also studied and achieved their Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 3 certificate, expanding their knowledge of the housing industry.

Most recently, Ryan has been serving as the Head of Finance at Estuary Housing Association. In this role, they have delivered multiple sets of statutory accounts, successfully audited them, and improved the budgeting process. Ryan has also been instrumental in negotiating significant accounting provisions with external auditors and facilitating the transition to remote working for the finance department during the pandemic. Ryan has taken on responsibilities such as writing, delivering, and presenting reports to the board of management and committees, leading regulatory returns submissions, and providing strategic advice to the executive and senior leadership team. Additionally, Ryan oversees the day-to-day operations of the finance department and serves as the deputy for the CFO.

Ryan Lane ACA pursued their education in the field of Accounting and Finance. From 2010 to 2012, they attended AAT, earning a degree in AAT. Following this, from 2012 to 2016, they studied at ICAEW, specializing further in Accounting and Finance. In addition to their academic achievements, Ryan Lane ACA also obtained a Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management from ILM in June 2018.
