Samir Goel has a varied work experience, starting in 2013 with the co-founding of Transfernation, Inc., a non-profit social venture focused on redistributing excess food to underserved communities. Samir later co-founded Esusu in 2015, a platform that facilitates the reporting of rental payment data to credit bureaus, allowing tenants to build credit and landlords to increase tenant retention. In 2019, Samir worked as a licensed real estate agent at Real. Samir also gained experience at LinkedIn, where they held roles in sales strategy and operations for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. Additionally, Samir served on the board of directors for SaverLife starting in 2021. Throughout their career, they have also contributed to various publications such as The Muse, MOGUL Inc., and others, showcasing their expertise and insights.

Samir Goel has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance, International Business, with a minor in Political Science from NYU Stern School of Business.
