Torben Mikkelsen

Torben Mikkelsen is an accomplished project manager and electrical engineer with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as Project Director at ESVAGT A/S since January 2024, Torben has held various significant roles, including Newbuild Project Manager at Seaway 7 and OHT, where responsibilities involved overseeing major projects such as the Vind 1 wind turbine installation vessel. Prior to these positions, Torben was Senior Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer at Maersk Supply Service, managing newbuild projects and electrical designs. Previous roles include Head of Electrical Engineering at A.P. Moller - Maersk, Technical Director at Scanel International A/S, and electrical superintendent at Samsung Shipyard in South Korea. Torben's educational background includes a CBL in Business & Leadership from Henley Business School and training from Nordjyllands Erhvervs Akademi.
