Simon Said

Simon Said has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Simon currently holds the position of VP of Technical Product Management at ESW Capital since June 2020. Prior to this, Simon worked at Betsson Group as a Technical Lead from December 2018 to June 2020, and as a Senior Backend Developer from July 2017 to December 2018. Simon also worked at ArenaCube as a Senior .Net Developer & Team Lead from March 2017 to July 2017. Simon's earlier experience includes roles such as Project Leader and Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead at CS Technologies International Limited, and Software Developer In Test at Transactium Limited. Additionally, they worked as a Sales Promoter at Mailbox Distribution Services in 2010 and 2009. Simon has a strong background in project management, team leadership, and software development, with expertise in various technologies such as ASP .Net, Entity Framework, SQL, JavaScript, and more.

Simon Said obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Malta, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Simon also holds additional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, obtained in June 2019.
