David Guerin

David Guerin's work experience includes roles such as Lead Solution Architect at ESW since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Architect and Principal Software Engineer at ESW from September 2018 to June 2021. David also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt from March 2015 to August 2018. In earlier roles, they worked as a Software Architect at Onestream Broadcasting Ltd from May 2011 to March 2017 and as a Software Engineer and Team Lead at Monford Ag Ltd from January 2011 to June 2013. Additionally, they have experience as a Lecturer in Distributed and Cloud Systems at Dublin Institute of Technology in 2012, TA and Lab Assistant in Robotics at Trinity College Dublin from 2009 to 2012, and as a Software Engineer at Sity Analytics from August 2010 to January 2011. David started their career as a Test & Network Engineer at Cibenix from February 2006 to October 2008, and as a Network Engineer at Milne Computer Services from May 2005 to December 2005.

David Guerin obtained a B.Eng degree in Electronics & Computer Systems from Technological University Dublin in 2006. David then pursued a B.E. in Computer & Communications Engineering from the same institution from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, David completed an M.Sc degree in Computer Science (Networks & Distributed Systems) at Trinity College Dublin. David continued their education at Trinity College Dublin, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, David holds various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified SAFe® 5 Lean Portfolio Manager, Certified SAFe® 4 Architect, Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, and MCSA: Cloud Platform.
